Dismissed Co-mayors of Van’s Özalp district Handan Bağcı and Şerafettin Özalp and the deputy Co-mayor Okan Bayram have been sent to Van T-type Prison due to an approved final verdict on accused of “opposing to Law on Meetings and Demonstrations”. Handan and Şerafettin and Okan will be held in prison for 20 days because the jail sentence given to them is less than a year.
