DÊRSIM - Dêrsim Municipality, where a trustee was appointed, was blockaded with concrete barriers.

 

Trustees were appointed to Dêrsim Municipality under the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) administration and Pulur (Ovacık) Municipality under the CHP administration yesterday.  

 

While DEM Party called for ‘The people will not surrender, they will protect their will’, many organisations and parties reacted against the trustees. DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları travelled to Dersim. CHP also sent a delegation to the region.

 

While the people resisted by saying ‘don't touch my will’, the trustee governor started his actions.

 

The first action of Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, who was appointed as trustee to Dêrsim Municipality, was to blockade the municipality with concrete barriers in the early hours of the morning.
