DİYARBAKIR – “Everything from the list to the security of ballot boxes is ready” said Filiz Buluttekin, Co-chair of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır and she emphasized that the efforts of the ruling power to catch the opposition are in vain.

 

After the announcement of the date of the snap election in Turkey, the people have emphasized that the government got into panic and wanted to catch the opposition as unprepared. Diyarbakır, one of the most important cities where perception operations have been carried out against the HDP, is already ready for the election. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır provincial Co-chair Filiz Buluttekin said they were ready for the election in every aspect and they received high moral support.

 

‘Empire of fear didn’t work’

 

Noting that the snap election decision doesn’t affect them and that the HDP have already started to work, Filiz underlined that the empire of fear created by the AKP didn’t work and that the survey results say the AKP couldn’t increase its vote rate.

 

‘We are ready for the election’

 

Commenting on the aim of catching the opposition unprepared, Filiz indicated that the HDP is already under pressure in many elections but the people overcome all difficulties in each election. Filiz said, “We will continue our works with great motivation after that. Our list to be sent to the Supreme Electoral Council and the list of observers formed for security of ballot boxes are ready. We get great support from the people and we can say we are ready for the election.”
