KOBANÊ - Thousands of women from the Euphrates Region came together in Kobanê and celebrated International Women’s Day.

 

Thousands of women from the Euphrates Region gathered in Kobanê Canton for March 8, International Women’s Day.  The women gathering at Martyr Egît Square marched until Free Woman Square. The women carried the posters of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and women, who lost their lives and the flags of Kongra Star, YPG and YPJ, TEV-DEM. The women often shouted the slogan “Women, Life, Freedom”.
