ISTANBUL - Eight of nine ESP members, who were detained in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş district last night while distributing leaflets against one-type uniform in prisons, have been released. The party Istanbul Chair Pınar Türk has been taken to Istanbul Police Headquarters.
Nine members of the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) were detained in Istanbul’s Beşiktaş district last night while distributing leaflets against one-type uniform practice to be implemented in prisons. Eight of them have been released.
The party Istanbul Chair Pınar Türk has been taken to Istanbul Police Headquarters on Vatan Avenue.
Names of released people are as follows; Serkan Zorlu, Erkan Çelikcan, M. Bedran Çoğaltay, Gökhan Güneş, Özgür Baykara, Murat Doğan, Bedirhan Karayer and Sedat Türlü.
