Newa Women’s Foundation has made a statement and announced that they will found a women’s channel named “Jin TV”. The statement points out that a process in which women’s struggle for freedom has been written in letters of gold in history in Kurdistan, the Middle East and all over the world, has been going on and it continues as follows; “The powers, regimes and systems that come into existence in male-dominant mindset have been seriously shaken by women’s brave struggles. Shaken and overextended male-regimes have deepened their policies of exploitation and have applied more violence in order to break women’s will. As the state has inflicted its violence through its laws and law enforcement forces, the state’s representative men have inflicted the same violence at homes, in the streets and the solidarity of men-state has tried to surrender the women’s lives.
‘We dedicate to all women’
As Newa Women’s Foundation, we want to give good news to the women. A women’s channel named “Jin TV” will begin its broadcasting life in near future. The details of our channel project will be shared with the public opinion soon. We want to dedicate this work, which we have carried out with the effort of hundreds of women, to the all women dedicating their lives to women’s struggle for existence and to the memory of Sara, Rojbîn and Ronahî, who were killed in Paris in 2013.
