ANKARA- HDP Women’s Assembly members visited Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who have been on a hunger strike for 291 days, to be in solidarity with them.
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Women’s Assembly members visited educators Nuriye Gülmen and Semih Özakça, who were dismissed from their duties and have been on a hunger strike for 291 days to demand their jobs back, and Esra Özakça, who has been on a hunger strike for 216 days. HDP Adana MP Meral Danış Beştaş, HDP Diyarbakır MP Feleknas Uca and the party’s Van MP Bedia Özgökçe requested the demands of the hunger strikers to be met immediately.
