MERSİN – Four female members of the Halkevleri (Community Centers) were battered and detained by police while distributing leaflets in Mersin province. 

 

Four female members of the Hakevleri (Community Centers) were detained while distributing leaflets at Mezitli Women’s Bazaar in Mersin province. The women were reportedly prevented from distributing leaflets by police and they were battered and detained. 

 

No information has been obtained about where the four women have been taken.
