DİYARBAKIR- “Everyone knows that the salvation of the peoples, particularly of the women, depends on the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan,” said Gülistan Erdinç, Co-mayor of Balpınar Municipality in Batman province.

 

The Kurdish people, who concern about the life and security of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, have continued to hold actions in Kurdistan, Turkey and Europe. As all applications of Abdullah Öcalan’s family and lawyers to visit him have been rejected, Batman’s Balpınar Municipality Gülistan Erdinç- a trustee was appointed in her place- said the key person for peace was Abdullah Öcalan.

 

‘The priority of the leader is woman and life’

 

Saying that the Kurdish people’s red line is Abdullah Öcalan, Gülistan pointed out that no satisfactory statement has been made on the spread of the news that says he had lost his life.Sstating that politics come to a deadlock in the Middle East, Gülistan noted that the Kurdish people predicate the paradigm of Abdullah Öcalan in everywhere they live.

 

‘We should speak out against the isolation as women’

 

“We can say that the paradigm of leader is 'rebirth' for humanity. Those who run dirty policies on the Middle East want to build their own systems. But the priority of the system of the leader is women and life. They want to destroy this. We should speak out against the isolation as women,” said Gülistan and she added, “The key of peace is Abdullah Öcalan. Isolation on the leader is the isolation on women.”

 

‘Our leader is the architect of the democratic nation’

 

“They want to stop us with the state of emergency and its decrees,” said Gülistan and she highlighted that the salvation of the peoples, particularly of the women, depends on the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.”

 

Lastly, Gülistan said, “Our leader is the architect of a democratic nation. The salvation of not only the Kurdish people but also the peoples in the Middle East depends on this. Turkey is already getting worse both economically and politically. Erdoğan wants to build his own regime. The main purpose is to eliminate the gains of women. Many of our friends, co-mayors and politicians were jailed. They should know that we will never leave our gains. We will fight for the freedom of our leader to the end.”
