TJA and DBP: Day is the day of sharing our people's pain

DİYARBAKIR – Free Women’s Movement (Tevgre Jinen Azad-TJA) and Democratic Regions’ Party (DBP) call for solidarity with the victims of the destructive earthquakes hit Southern and Eastern Kurdistan.
Free Women’s Movement (Tevgre Jinen Azad-TJA) and Democratic Regions’ Party (DBP) Headquarters have made a written statement on 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook the border region between Eastern and Southern Kurdistan. TJA express their condolence to families lost their relatives in earthquake and says;
“No matter how our pain may be, our aid will reduce our pain and strengthen our solidarity. On this painful day, we want to state that we stand by women and people of Kurdistan with all our heart. We call on all our people to be in solidarity with people in South Kurdistan and Eastern Kurdistan. We are sharing the pain of our citizens lost their lives in the earthquake.”
DBP calls for mobilizing against the disaster killing and injuring hundreds. The statement of the DBP is as follows;
“We were deeply saddened by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake centered in south of Halabja in Kurdistan took place at 21:00 p.m. yesterday. According to the reports received so far, hundreds of our citizens have unfortunately lost their lives. We are concerned about tolls to increase. We call on our people in Kurdistan, particularly in Europe, to be in solidarity with our people living in earthquake areas. Day is the day of solidarity; day is the day of sharing our people's pain. We deeply share the pain of our people in Southern and Eastern Kurdistan. We express our condolence to all our citizens lost their lives and we wish all the people who have been injured a speedy recovery.”
