Police attack people gathering to remember those who lost their lives in Ankara Massacre

ANKARA – Police attacked the mass wanting to go to Ankara Railway Station to remember those who lost their lives in Ankara Massacre occurred on October 10, 2015 by using tear gas and rubber bullets. Wounded people on October 10, families of those who lost their lives, political party representatives and labor organizations were among the mass.
Police attacked the remembrance to be organized for those who lost their lives in the bomb attack of Daesh on the "Labour, Peace and Democracy" rally on October 10, 2105. The remembrance would be organized at Ankara Railway Station at 10:04 a.m. to remember those who lost their lives and to condemn the attack. But all roads to the station were closed by the Governor's decision and police attacked the wounded people, families, political party representatives and members of labor organizations by using tear gas.
After the police attack, the people entered in the building of the Turkish Chamber Of Civil Engineers (İMO), wounded people, families and members of the 10 October Peace and Solidarity Association wanted to make a statement. HDP Co-chair Serpil Kemalbay and HDP MPs Meral Danış Beştaş and Ahmet Yıldırım attended the statement to make in the building of the İMO. Police attacked the building by using tear gas.
The people made the statement despite the attacks and said, “This grief that had previously been experienced in Diyarbakir continued in Ankara, Antep. We lost our 102 people in Ankara. This massacre is one of the greatest massacres of the history of Republic and Turkey. Those who left behind continue their struggle. On that day, Turkey lost its 102 people, its justice and its peace. Two years passed after the massacre, but our grief is as same as the first day, our anger is as big as the first day. None of us have forgotten, we will not make them forget.”
While the mass were stuck in the building of the İMO during the police attack, police attacked the people outside by using tear gas.
