URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been carrying out the "justice" vigil in front of the Urfa Courthouse since March 9, said: "Nobody should be sin by this massacre. The perpetrators of the massacre are certain." After the action, Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar were battered and detained by the police.
Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attacks, and her son Ferit started the sit-in in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding "justice", continues on its 73rd day.
‘Nobody should take the sin’
Emine said that they had been waiting in front of the courthouse for days and emphasized that they were constantly under the surveillance of the police, but those who killed her children wandered outside. Emine said: "One day surely he/she will pay his/her silence to this massacre. The police take us out of the courthouse. All our records are hidden in cooperate. My children were deliberately killed. Where were the people who were seen were killed in the hospital? Nobody should be a partner in this massacre. We want justice to achieved."
‘It is committing a crime by covering up the file’
Stating that a crime against humanity was committed, Ferit stated that the perpetrators of the massacre were known and reminded the security cameras in the hospital. Ferit said: "The Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is currently committing a crime by covering up this file. We will not leave until justice is provided. We risked everything. We will be here until justice comes."
They battered and detained
After the action, Emine and her son Ferit Şenyaşar were battered and detained by the police. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Pervin Buldan was expected to visit Emine and Ferit at 11:00 am.
While it is learned that Emine and Ferit, who have been taken into custody, will be taken to the police station, a Criminal Record Check (GBT) is performed on the journalists who are in front of the courthouse to follow the news.
