HABER MEREZI - The hunger strike which started by prisoners to abolish the isolation on PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and end violations in prisons, continues on its 15th day with the  third group.

 

The hunger strike that political prisoners started on November 27 to abolish the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and  end the violations of rights in prisons, continues. Hunger strike action which was taken over by third group is on its 15th day.

 

Within the scope of Human Rights Week; IHD (Human Rights Association) , HRFT (Human Rights Foundation of Turkey), many other political parties, and non-governmental organizations made a statement about  hunger strikes in many cities yesterday and drew attention to the rights violations in prisons and to the isolation.
