ISTANBUL-  A class teacher at a primary school in Üsküdar called  M.M. male was sentenced to 87 years and 6 months imprisonment for subjecting 7 children to systematic sexual assault.

 

A class teacher at a primary school in Üsküdar, Istanbul called  M.M.(54) male have subjected 10 children aged between 10 and 11 years to systematic sexual assault.After the incident come out upon one of the children explaining the abuse to his/her family M.M. was arrested and sent to prison on claim of families.

 

In the indictment prepared by  Istanbul Anatolia Public Prosecutor's Office from 150 years to 225 years imprisonment was demanded on M.M. The suspected teacher M.M. and defence attorney and  children's families were participated in judgement trial in Istanbul Anatolia 8th High Penal Court. The families  made copmlaint on M.M. and demanded to be sentenced.

 

The court opined M.M. subjected 7 children  between 2013-2016 to sytematic sexual assault and decided by the majority of votes that M.M would be sentenced 7 times 12 years and 6 months from the crime 'Public official's successive sexual assult to children'.

 

The court senteced M.M to 87 years and 6 months imprisonment for action against 7 children, absolved M.M. on the grounds of the allegation of sexual abuse for three students could not be proved.

 

On the other hand member judge opposed the majority judgement. The member judge indicated that there is not any concrete, sceptical and credible evindents about sexual assault crime in the file and opined on suspected absolvation.
