150 families wait for solidarity in container city

VAN - The life is getting harder for people of container city in Seyrantepe neighborhood where mostly the people who have been emigrated forcedly, leaved their lands because of war and subjected to live in the cities and impoverished. Nearly 150 families who live in the container city  are making solidarity call. 
 
Day by day the life is getting harder nearly 150 families who live in container city in Seyrantepe neighborhood, Van. People think that they are otherized because of the fence border in front of container city. The people of container city are who have been emigrated from their villages, escaped from war and com efor economic reasons. The children and women are in the hardest situations. Even there is not a playground for children. There are two tandoori(kind of oven a hole in the earth) house for baking bread but they can not be used for lack of fuel and wood.
 
'We have to live these because they were took us out from our villages' 
 
Zeytun Çetin(26), who came Van with her family because their village was evacuated said that they have financial difficulties due to her husband is day laborer. Zeytun expressed that they have been living here for 6 years, because they can not afford a rented house  and  they have to come container city. Zeytun said " Sometimes there is no electricity for days, we keep our children under the blankets to warm in the evenig". They have more difficulties in the winter conditions. And here is an open place for all kinds of diseases because of deficiency of water. And said " We have tol ive all these because they were took us out from our villages."
 
'We haven't got Money for surgery of my daughter'
 
Gül Kaval(36), who moved from Hakkari to Van with her husband and children because of economic reasons indicated  that their house had collapsed in the earthquake in Van. Saying that their children are ill, Gul noted that they can not affrod the cost of surgery for her daughter. Gül expressed "My husband works at temporary jobs. I can't even meet the needs of my little son. All of my children are sick. We can't even save my daughter's surgey costs. The life is getting harder in this container city. We have to move here because our house demolished in the erathquake. we have been detached from life totally in here.We feel ourslves otherized here."
 
'Nobody is aware of us'
 
Nesibe Aslan(58) who have to move Van because they were forced to leave their villages told that she  missed the life in her village. And added that they can not return to their village, continued " Today we have baked bread. We can't find even wood to make bread. We ask for wood a person who we know, gave us as we can bake. We hardly manage in the winters. When the electricy went off, we get sick quickly. People get sick because of  bad substructure and deficiency of water.  Nobody is aware of us. Our problems have to be solved immediately."
