HATAY - It is emerged that Medine K., allegedly killed herself, was subjected to violence by her husband. Her brother Mehmet Ok has claimed his sister was killed and he filed a criminal complaint against his brother-in-law.

 

Medine K.,who lived in the Dörtyol district of Hatay, allegedly killed herself on September 8. Her brother Mehmet Ok said there are purple spots on my sister’s body according to the autopsy report. Mehmet claims his sister could be killed and he filed a criminal complaint to Dörtyol Public Prosecutor.

 

Medine K. married Ahmet K. (37) on September 24, 2016 while she was living in Adana province. Medine left working after her marriage and moved to Dörtyol district of Hatay with her husband. Medine allegedly killed herself on September 8, 2017. Ahmet K. was released after his testimony. Adana Forensic Medicine Institute found purple spots on her body during her autopsy.

 

She was subjected to violence!

 

As the family buried their daughter, her father said he didn’t believe his daughter could kill herself. “My daughter was killed; they made it look like a suicide. I heard that my daughter was subjected to violence and repression. I sent my daughter in white wedding dress; they gave us her in white cerement one year later. Her husband didn’t attend the ceremony. This shows his guilt.”

 

Medine’s brother Mehmet Ok also stated that his sister had been killed. He said, “There are purple spots on my sister’s body. She wasn’t the one to commit suicide. Her husband’s family didn’t want my sister. I think Medine was killed. For this reason, I filed a criminal complaint.”
