Asrin Law Office lawyers representing Abdullah Öcalan applied to Bursa Execution Judgeship for family visits.
The judge's office reported that Abdullah Öcalan was given a new 3-month ‘disciplinary punishment’ on 16 October 2024.
No information about the reason for the ‘punishment’ was shared. The lawyers will appeal against the decision.
News received after 43 months
Abdullah Ocalan met with his nephew Omer Ocalan, MP for Riha of Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), on 23 October, after 43 months of the aggravated isolation of Abdullah Öcalan.
The interview was conducted in the context of family counselling.
