IGDIR - Speaking at his party's Îdir provincial congress, HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan said, "The only issue that has been discussed since yesterday is whether the HDP will nominate a candidate. I would like to express once again that the HDP will nominate its candidate together with its own alliances. "

 

The 4th Ordinary Congress of the HDP Îdir provincial organization was held with the participation of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Pervin Buldan. HDP Deputies Sait Dede, Habip Lack, Abdullah Koç, Dılşat Cambaz, HDP Qers and Agiri provincial and district administrators and many citizens attended the congress, which was held in a wedding hall in the city center. After the congress commission was accepted, HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan made a speech.

 

Starting her speech by greeting the public and the participants, Pervin emphasized that as HDP, they will fight until they bring peace, democracy, justice and freedom to the geography they live in. Pervin said, “We are aware that there is a great attack on the HDP because we have expressed all these and given this determination clearly. HDP is a party that is faced with a new attack every day, but at the same time never compromises on democratic politics. We are aware that there is a government that cannot cope with us politically. We are aware that there is a government that has no faces to confront us politically. We are aware of the fact that they are confronted with political conspiracies because they cannot do all these things, because they cannot deal with us politically."

 

'Attacks are directed against democratic politics'

 

Stating that the Kobanî Conspiracy Case, the HDP Closure Case, the attacks on HDP components, and the arrest of DBP Co-Chair Keskin Bayındır are an attack on democratic politics, Pervin said, “The difficulties and bullying that our members of parliament face every day and everywhere while conducting democratic politics, as well as battering, Here, there are many obstacles, injustices and unlawfulness, such as the attack on our missing deputy Habip. Habib Missing is the will of the people of Iğdır, the attack on him is an injustice to both the will of the people of Iğdır, the Kurdish people and HDP voters. Once again, I convey our best wishes to our deputy Habip Missing. Our feelings of solidarity will always continue."

 

One go, we come a thousand

 

Injustice and lawlessness have become an understanding in this country. We know that the AKP-MHP bloc carries out its entire policy in this country by being unfair and unlawful. Prisons are full of HDP members. We are going through a process like no other in the world, where a political operation is carried out in one of our provinces and districts every day, and our executive friends are detained and arrested. We are in a period where our deputies, former Co-Chairs Selahattin Demirtaş, Figen Yüksekdağ, İdris Baluken, Gülten Kışanak, Sebahat Tuncel, Ayla Ata Akat, and hundreds of our friends, whose names I can't count, are presidential candidates who are in prison and carry out democratic politics in a country. There is no other party that has no other example anywhere in the world, that we have not seen such oppression and persecution applied to another party, and that, despite all this, insists on democratic politics and struggles. We come from such a tradition that we come with a thousand incomes, a thousand expenses and millions. I would especially like to emphasize that no one should forget the fact that there are millions of people whose doors are at risk of being closed or even closed, whose leaders and leaders have been tortured but who have not closed the door of this party.

 

We grew up without treasury aid

 

Now they have their eyes on HDP. In the past, they closed our parties, but new ones were opened instead of those parties, they grew bigger and expanded, and continued their politics and struggle. They think that if we close the HDP, the HDP will not work. Let them continue to live in a fantasy world. We would like to convey once again to the rulers of this country that the HDP will not be closed, that it will continue its democratic policy and that HDP will take part in the politics of the country in every sense. The HDP is not just a building, it becomes a party that will be closed when you lock the door. Now they have their eyes fixed on the treasury aid the HDP has received. I would like to express from this rostrum to the understanding that blocks the treasury aid given to us by our people's taxes, you can never block the will of our people and millions, you can never prevent this will, you can never turn us back from democratic politics. We are not a party that received treasury aid in the past. From HEP, from DEP, from DEHAP, from HADEP Our political tradition has grown without the aid of the treasury.

 

AKP-MHP is an alliance of usurpation

 

Those who have blocked our treasury aid with the indictments written by the MHP prosecutors with the insistence of the AKP-MHP bloc with the order of the palace, by violating the right we have obtained today, illegally, the law and the Constitution, should know that we will get that treasury aid back again. No power will be able to stand against it, because it is our legal and constitutional right. We also know that you usurped this and that the AKP-MHP alliance is a usurpation alliance. We all know very well that all these injustices and unlawfulness are political decisions and have nothing to do with the law. Their aim is to create a Turkey and a parliament without HDP, but they should know that they cannot achieve this.

 

This election will be an election that will change the regime.

 

We have a new election calendar ahead of us. Turkey will hold a new election in 3-4 months at the most. With this election, Turkey's destiny, history and administration will change hands with a new understanding. In this historic decision, the peoples and society of Turkey will play an important role. This is no ordinary choice. It is not an ordinary election where all of us will go and cast votes. It is necessary to approach these elections with the understanding that the regime will change, the understanding and administration will change, the anti-democratic practices, injustices and unlawfulness will come to an end. We will either choose the light or the dark, or we will prefer peace or fascism. Everyone is aware of the situation that those who have ruled this country for 20 years have brought the country. The history of Turkey has not faced such major crises as in this period. We all know very well that the AKP-MHP alliance is the cause of the economic crisis, political crisis and social crisis. We all know very well that the AKP-MHP alliance is responsible for hunger, misery, poverty, plunder, injustice and lawlessness.

 

HDP will nominate its candidate together with its own alliances

 

Everyone's eyes are on the HDP, that is, with us, "Will it nominate a candidate or not, will it support the nation's alliance or not?" Will HDP's strategy be the same as in the local elections, or will it have a new target or a new strategy? Yesterday I made a statement in Kars, I said that HDP will announce its own candidate and will enter the elections with its own candidate. The only issue that has been discussed since yesterday is whether the HDP will nominate a candidate. Why shouldn't HDP nominate candidates? How is HDP different from you? Isn't HDP a will in this country? Isn't HDP a political party, does it have the right to enter the elections or not? Does it have the will to change and transform this country? Considering all these, I would like to express once again that HDP will nominate its candidate together with its own alliances.

 

Those who do not know the people of the Kurdish righteous are doomed to be defeated.

 

The HDP's nomination together with the Labor and Freedom Alliance, the women's alliance, the Kurdish alliance, and the alliance of the democratic forces will of course upset both the dreams of some and their future strategy. I would like to emphasize that those who see prisons and cemeteries for the Kurdish people and their friends are doomed to lose. Those who do not recognize the Kurdish people as a political will, those who do not see the Kurdish people and their friends, alliances and components as a will are always doomed to lose. That is why I would like to express once again that the HDP is a party that always prioritizes its principles and struggle, and that always takes into account the people's own struggle, their resistance, their own politics. The peoples' democratic party is a will in this country, and it will continue to be.

 

Those who voted for AKP should see this cruelty

 

From here, I would like to call out once again to my Kurdish brothers who voted for the AKP. I would like you to see the persecution of the HDP once again. I would like to say once again to my Kurdish brothers and sisters who voted for the AKP, that the pressure on the HDP, the violence inflicted, the mentality that tries to push the HDP out of democratic politics, and I want you to see the persecution of the HDP once again. I would like to express that those who voted for the AKP should once again consider the pressure on the HDP, the violence inflicted, those who try to keep the HDP out of democratic politics.

 

Isolation has become an understanding in Turkey

 

I would especially like to emphasize how essential the unity and solidarity of the Kurdish people is in this period. I would like to emphasize that we attach great importance to an understanding based on peace against war, dialogue and negotiation against isolation, at a time when all kinds of injustice and oppression are committed in the Kurds, and the policies of war and isolation have become an understanding in this country. Today, isolation has become an understanding not only for Mr. Öcalan in İmralı, but also all over Turkey. The isolation on Mr. Öcalan in İmralı was further deepened during this period, and neither family nor lawyers are allowed to visit under harsh conditions. We know that this injustice and unlawfulness is related to the arbitrariness of the AKP. The understanding that does not even recognize its own laws causes the isolation in Imrali.

 

HDP is an opportunity in this country

 

HDP is an opportunity in this country. We know that there is no other political party that wants peace, democracy and justice to come to this country in the first place, and that constantly speaks out. We see how other political parties come together when it comes to the Kurds. We all see how other political parties come together on all issues, from the lifting of the immunity of our deputy, to the passing of the war bills in the general assembly. The day after tomorrow, when the immunity of a deputy from other parties, such as CHP, IYI or any other party, comes to the commission or general assembly, the HDP will clearly demonstrate its principled stance and oppose the lifting of immunity. We are so principled and determined about the future of this country, about the democratic developments that will take place in the future of the country. No one will ever be able to turn us away from this principled attitude.
