They demand ‘justice’ for 257 days: ‘Courage is needed’

URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been on the ‘’justice vigil’’ for 257 days, shared on their virtual media accounts, ‘’Courage is needed. It is necessary to unite and say stop to oppression, injustice and this crisis.’’
 
The ‘’justice vigil’’ started on March 9 in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her spouse and two sons as a result of the attacks of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız’s guard and relatives, and Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attacks with injuries, continues on its 257th day. Emine and Ferit continue the vigil at their home in Suruç district, as the courthouse is closed at the weekend.
 
Sharing on their virtual media account, the family said, ‘’This injustice in the Şanlıurfa Palace of Justice is a threat to justice everywhere. Courage is needed. It is necessary to unite and say stop to oppression, injustice and this crisis.’’
 
Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Selçuk Mızraklı, who was replaced by trustee, and who held in Kayseri Bünyan Prison No. T 2, gave support to the Şenyaşar family with a post on his virtual media account. Selçuk said, ‘’A period to be lived with courage is better than lifetime cowardice. We will build a new life with the courage of mothers seeking justice’’.
