Emphasis on unity from Kurdish writers

DİYARBAKIR - Kurdish writers, who came together at the event organized by the Kurdish Litterateurs Association, emphasized the importance of the struggle for national unity and mother tongue.
Kurdish writers came together at a cafe in Diclekent Neighborhood of Kayapınar district as part of an event organized by the Kurdish Litterateurs Association in Diyarbakır. Many Kurdish writers, 78’s Association, Mesopotamia Language and Culture Research Association (MED-DER), Birca Belek Language and Cultural Center, Language and Culture Network attended the meeting.
‘National unity is essential’
The meeting, which started with breakfast, continued with discussions and suggestions on some topics. While one of the topics discussed was national unity, it was emphasized that national unity is essential for the Kurdish people and solutions were offered on what can be done for this.
Co-chairs of the Kurdish Litterateurs Association, Sultan Yaray and Mehmet Deviren, in their short speech, mentioned the importance of language and culture and said, ‘’At this point, we have to organize everywhere and fight for our language. Ensuring our unity is one of the important issues. We have to do our part in this regard’’.
After discussions and suggestions, the meeting came to an end.
