URFA - Emine Şenyaşar, who came to the courthouse for the ‘’justice’’ vigil with the serum on her arm, was subjected to police intervention.

 

The justice vigil of Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar in front of the Urfa Courthouse continues on its 241st day. Emine Şenyaşar went to the hospital first in the morning due to her health problems. Despite all the warnings of the doctors for her rest, Emine came to the Urfa Courthouse with a serum on her arm in order to continue her vigil. While she was continuing her protest, Emine was subjected to police intervention even though she had a serum on her arm.

 

The police commander shouted to the police officers who did not interfere to Emine and Ferit, saying, ‘’Should I intervene? Take them to the hospital by force. This is a courthouse, not a hospital’’. Thereupon, the polices tried to take Emine to the hospital with the ambulance they called.

 

Emine reacted to the police intervention by saying ‘’Take me to prison’’.

 

Refusing to go to the hospital, Emine entered the courthouse with Ferit Şenyaşar to meet with the prosecutor.
