NEWS CENTER - KOMAW made a call for the bodies of HPG members killed in Xelîfan to be handed over to their families.

 

The Association of Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons (KOMAW) has called for the bodies of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) members killed in the ambush by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) forces in Xelîfan to be handed over to their families waiting in Sêmalka.

 

KOMAW, who wrote a letter to the Federal Kurdistan Region Government, pointed out that the Peace Mothers have been in action for about a month.

 

The following statements were included in the letter, ‘’Now, our call to you, especially to the heads of the KDP, who is the head of the Başûr administration, as the Martyrs’ Families Institution, is as follows: Response the calls of Peace Mothers and the patriotic people of Kurdistan and many Kurdistanî organizations, institutions and individuals who have made the same demands. Hand over the bodies of martyrs! We would like to remind you that you are faced with the following question: Will you give ear to will and request of our Peace Mothers and the people of Kurdistan and choose right which is the honorable way? Or will you act in line with the wishes of the colonial and genocidal Republic of Turkey, choose the honorless way, and continue your common massacres?’’
