DİYARBAKIR - Türkan Elçi announced that she had obtained her attorney’s license with a post on her Twitter account.

 

Türkan Elçi, the spouse of former Diyarbakır Bar Association President Tahir Elçi, who lost his life as a result of an armed attack in Diyarbakır’s Sur district in 2015, became a lawyer.

 

Türkan, who got a attorney’s license, shared her photo on Twitter and said: ‘’I got my attorney license today. When I received this document, which means more than just a license for starting a career for me, I wished for the hope of strengthening a secular world, which is essential for women.’’
