NEWS CENTER - Peace Mothers marched to the Pêşxabûr Border Gate to take the bodies of HPG members who lost their lives as a result of the attack by the special forces affiliated with the KDP. Peace Mothers were prevented by KDP forces.

 

26 Peace Mothers from the Cizre Region of Northern and Eastern Syria took action from Sêmalka Border Gate towards Pêşxabûr Border Gate to take the bodies of YJA STAR member Nesrîn Temir and HPG member Yusif Îbrahîm, who lost their lives as a result of the attack by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) affiliated special forces in the Xelifan region of Federated Kurdistan. After the KDP forces did not allow the Peace Mothers to pass, the mothers started a sit-in.

What happened?

 

As a result of the ambush by the KDP forces against the HPG group of seven people on August 29, five people lost their lives and one person was injured. One HPG member survived the attack.
