URFA - The ‘’justice’’ action carried out by Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar in front of the Urfa Courthouse since March 9 continues on its 154th day.
Emine, who lost her husband Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and her sons Celal and Adil Şenyaşar as a result of the attacks, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack with injuries, continue in front of the Urfa Courthouse on the 154th day of the ‘’justice’’ protest.
The family came to the courthouse in the early hours of the morning and continued their action.
‘Let prosecutors not sit on their seats’
Speaking about the action, Ferit said that three years have passed since the massacre and the perpetrators have been identified. Adding that a fair trial was not held, Ferit said: ‘’If the Turkish state is a state of law, these 23 people should be brought to justice and arrested. They get the necessary punishment, we go to our house. My mother is 65-year-old. She lives under persecution. If there is justice in Turkey, if the prosecutors have a conscience, they will provide this justice. If there is political pressure on the judiciary, if prosecutors are not allowed to do what is necessary, let they not sit on their seats.”
‘Is this equal citizenship?’
The family shared the following from their digital media account: ‘’There are unlawfulnesses in many parts of Turkey. No one can deny this. But Şanlıurfa Palace of Justice holds the first place with the unlawfulness. (Three people were killed in the hospital, no indictment for three years.) Is this equal citizenship?’’
