10 custodies relating to murder of Kurdish family

KONYA - Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that 10 people were detained in the investigation of the massacre against the Kurdish family. In addition, the Chief Public Prosecutor and three Public Prosecutors were assigned to the investigation.
10 people were detained in connection with the murder of seven people. It was learned that the perpetrator or perpetrators who carried out the incident could not be found in the detentions.
Seven people, including four women, were killed in the attack on the Kurdish family from Kars, who had been subjected to racist attacks in the Meram district of Konya. While the investigation of the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office was continuing, a new progress took place. It was announced that 10 people were detained in connection with the attack. In addition, it was informed that the Chief Public Prosecutor and three Public Prosecutors were assigned under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
Using the same expressions as the government officials regarding the attack, the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office claimed: ‘’It has been determined that the incident resulted from the conflict and hostility that has been going on for 11 years between the two neighboring families. The allegations that the action was committed with the motive of racial hatred do not reflect the truth.’’
Detected person not taken into custody
On the other hand, it was learned that the person identified in the camera recordings last night was not among those detained.
