DİYARBAKIR - Leyla Aksakal, who started to receive treatment for Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever by being hospitalized after she got sick in the coal mine where she worked in Divriği, lost her life.

 

Leyla Aksakal (31-year-old), who went from the Çınar district of Diyarbakır to the Divriği district of Sivas, fell ill while working in the coal mine. Leyla, who learned that she had three children, was taken to the hospital. Leyla was treated at Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine Practice and Research Hospital on suspicion of Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF).

 

The Worker Health and Job Safety Council (ISIG) announced that the woman, whose condition worsened, lost her life after four days of treatment. It has been learned that Leyla's body will be sent to her hometown Diyarbakır for burial.
