NEWS CENTER – Iran’s Hewraman region has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

 

Located on Iran’s border with Federated Kurdistan Region, Hewraman has been inscribed on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage List. Drawing attention with its villages rising as terraces on the steep slopes of the Zagros Mountains and its unique architecture, Hewraman was unanimously included in the World Heritage List.
