URFA - Emine and Ferit Şenyaşar, who have been waiting for ‘’justice’’ in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 141 days, called for solidarity and support and said: ‘’We are also content with the delayed justice. Let this persecution end.’’

 

Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attacks, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack with injuries, have been on ‘’justice’’ watch in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 141 days. Emine and Ferit started their vigil with the placards, which they left on the ground written on ‘’Justice for all’’ and ‘’A mother has been on vigil in front of the Urfa Justice Palace for 141 days. Her two children and her husband were murdered in the hospital. Because of there was a MP in the massacre, no lawsuit has been filed for three years.’’

 

‘We are also content with delayed justice’

 

Emine and Ferit, who continued their vigil despite the high temperature at the point called ‘’Şenyaşar family justice corner’’, stated that their watch is on the 141st day. Speaking about the vigil, Ferit said: ‘’We have been here with my mother for 141 days. When we enter the courthouse, we find ourselves in custody or in the hospital. We want to call on legal organizations from here, provide legal support to our deserving cause. If you give this support, we think that if we all shout ‘justice’, the victimhoods of everyone in Turkey who have experienced similar aggrievements will be eliminated. There is a saying, ‘Justice that comes late is not justice’, and after this time we are also content with justice that comes late. Let this persecution end now.’’

A massacre took place in Suruç State Hospital, no official denies it. Since there was a MP in the massacre, no one can ask in the account. We want justice. We seek help from legal organizations.’’
