Hunger strike resistance on its 242nd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike resistance launched by the prisoners against the Imralı isolation and the increasing violations of rights in prisons has entered its 242nd day.
 
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the lifting of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, has entered its 242nd day. The hunger strike, which is carried out on an indefinite-alternately every five days, continues alternately every 15 days since July 14 with the 47th group.
 
On the 221st day of action in Maxmur
 
The hunger strike, which started on December 18, in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region, led by women against the Imralı isolation and continued at the Maxmur Martyrs’ Families Council, is on its 221st day.
 
The protest in Lavrio entered its 204th day
 
It has entered the 204th day of the indefinite-alternating hunger strike action launched by who are staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on the PKK leader and to support the ongoing hunger strikes in prisons. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurd li Ewropayê) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
