Bairam application from Abdullah Öcalan’s family and defensor

ISTANBUL - PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan's family and defensor applied to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with a request for a meeting.
Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan's brother Mehmet Öcalan and his defensor Mazlum Dinç applied for a meeting for Eid al-Adha. Other prisoners in İmralı, Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Ali Konar, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş's sister Melihe Çetin also applied through their lawyers.
The application was made for the bairam week.
The conversation was interrupted
Abdullah Öcalan, who has been held under heavy isolation conditions in Imralı High Security F Type Closed Prison for 22 years, was given the right to speak by phone for the first time on April 27, 2020.
While the isolation policy applied to Abdullah Öcalan continued, he had a telephone conversation with his brother Mehmet Öcalan on March 25, due to the growing public concerns due to some posts in the virtual media, but Mehmet Öcalan announced that this conversation was interrupted.
