Hunger strike action on its 233rd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched to end the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and to end the violations of rights in prisons has entered its 233rd day.
 
The hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, to demand an end the isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing violations of rights in prisons continues. The hunger strike, which is carried out on an indefinite-alternately every five days, continues alternately every 15 days since July 14 with the 47th group. The action entered its 233rd day.
 
Maxmur on its 212th day
 
The hunger strike launched on December 18, under the leading of women, continues against the Imralı isolation in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region. The action continued at Maxmur Martyrs' Families Association is on its 212th day.
 
The action in Lavrio has entered its 195th day
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by who are staying in the Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation on the PKK leader and to support the ongoing hunger strike in prisons is on its 195th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), the European Kurdish Women's Movement (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and the Kurdistan Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
