DİYARBAKIR - Aslan Karakaş, who harassed Emine Karakaş for a year and killed her with a firearm, but was not detained, was arrested in the courthouse to which he was transferred.

 

Aslan Karakaş (34) killed his relative Emine Karakaş (16), whom he forced to marry, harassed and threatened on February 4 in Bismil district of Diyarbakır, and surrendered to the gendarmerie in Bismil district 161 days later. The perpetrator, who was transferred to the courthouse after taking the gendarmerie statement, was arrested in the court to which he was referred and sent to prison.
