İZMİR - A racist attack was carried out against HDP Marmaris District Organization in the morning. The perpetrator of the armed attack A.T.D. was detained. Reacting to the attack, HDP Muğla Provincial Co-Chair Fulya Erdoğan said: ‘’These attacks were made against everyone who is struggling for democracy.’’

 

An armed attack was carried out against the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) District Organization in the Marmaris district of Muğla in the morning. Police came to the scene after it was reported that there was a person attacking the party building.

 

The police, who arrived at the scene, detained A.T.D. (28) who was determined to have carried out the attack.

On the other hand, it was determined that the perpetrator of the attack, A.T.D., who came to the HDP district building by commercial taxi, broke the glass of the HDP district building in the same way in 2018 and was prosecuted only for the crime of "damaging property".

HDP Muğla Provincial Co-Chair Fulya Erdoğan reacted to the attack with the following words: “We condemn the attacks, we know who is behind them. As Deniz's mother said, we will oppose all attacks with a democratic struggle. They have older brothers. We have no confidence in justice, health or education. These attacks were made against all those who struggle for democracy. We will continue without breaking our hope.’’
