Arrest in Hürmüz and Şimoni Diril investigation

ŞIRNAK - Apro Diril, who was detained within the scope of the investigation carried out regarding Hürmüz Diril, who has not been heard from for 533 days after he disappeared in Beytüşşebap, has been arrested.
Hürmüz and Şimoni Diril, who lived in Kovankaya (Mehri) village in Şırnak's Beytüşşebap district, were abducted by an unknown person or persons on January 8, 2020. Şimoni Diril's funeral was found 70 days later near the Hezil Stream. Three people, including Apro Diril, the only person living in the village, were detained on June 20 within the scope of the investigation carried out regarding the disappearance of two citizens, were taken to the Şırnak Courthouse yesterday after the statements.
Şırnak Bar Association Chair Rojhat Dilsiz stated that Apro Diril and two other people were referred to the court with a request for arrest after being questioned by the prosecutor's office. The court decided to arrest Apro Diril and to release the other person on condition of judicial control.
Apro Diril, the only person living in the village, had been detained before as part of the investigation and was released after his statement.
