QAMIŞLO - The first conference of the Syria Free Women's Foundation started at Rojava University with the motto "A free life and a free world are possible".

 

The first conference of the Syria Free Women Foundation started at Rojava University in Qamishlo with the motto "A free life and a free world are possible". 200 women and political party representatives from Northern and Eastern Syria attended the conference. Photographs of the fighters who lost their lives for the freedom of Rojava and banners "A free woman is the basis of a free life" and "A free life and a free world are possible" were hung in the conference hall.

 

The conference will start with the opening speech and continue with the speeches of the guests. At the same time, a cine-vision show will be held at the conference, describing the foundation's seven years of work. Afterwards, it is expected that there will be discussions on politics and the situation of women in the region.

 

The conference will be held after the election of five executive members and will end with a closing speech.

 

Free Women’s Foundation

 

The Free Women's Foundation was established in 2014 with the motto "A free woman is the basis of a free society" ". It is active in all of Syria, especially in Northern and Eastern Syria. It has branches in 10 cantons and districts, and in four camps. At the same time, 40 international, NGOs and organizations from the region support the foundation.
