Hunger strike action on its 203rd day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched against the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing rights violations in prisons is on its 203rd day.
 
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding the end of the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing violations of rights in prisons, continues on day 203 with the 41st group.
 
‘We are reading the leadership’ booth
 
Kurdish Young Women Students (JXK) opened an information stand called “We Read the Leadership” as part of the "Time Has Come, Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan" campaign in Berlin's Leopoldplatz, the capital of Germany.
 
At the stand, the German versions of PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan's Manifesto for Democratic Civilization, brochures prepared from his speeches and writings were introduced.
Young women distributed leaflets demanding the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and collected signatures to be submitted to the United Nations (UN).
