Hunger strike action on its 195th day

NEWS CENTER - The hunger strike launched against the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and increasing rights violations in prisons has entered its 195th day.
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike action launched by Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) prisoners on November 27, 2020, demanding an end to the aggravated isolation on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan and an end to the increasing rights violations in prisons continues on its 195th day with 39th group.
On the 174th day of the action in Maxmur
The hunger strike launched on December 18 against the İmralı isolation in Maxmur Camp in the Federated Kurdistan Region has entered its 174th day. The action continues at the Martyr Families Council under the leading of the Ishtar Council.
On the 157th day of action in Greece
The indefinite-alternating hunger strike, which was launched by those staying in Lavrio Camp in Greece to end the isolation against Abdullah Öcalan and to support the hunger strikes in prisons, continues on its 157th day. The hunger strike in the camp is led by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (TCŞ-Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger), Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (Tevgera Jinên Kurdistan a Ewropa) and Kurdish Cultural Center (Navenda Çanda Kurdistan).
